K. K. Bruno: writer, mom, swimmer, historical interpreter, concerned alumna. Want to know more? Here are the facts, then:
Born: During the Eisenhower administration at Camp Le Jeune, NC. That means my father was a U.S. Marine -- ooh-rah!
Education: The College of William and Mary, BA in English and MAEd in Secondary English Education. That means I was a high school English teacher. The Catholic University of America, MSLS. That means I was a librarian.
Children: One son, recently graduated from Amherst College and now an Ensign in the US Navy. That means I'm a proud mom.
Hobbies: reading, interpreting the Dig at Jamestown, The Virginia Shakespeare Festival, swimming, and safeguarding William and Mary as a national treasure. That means I'm alternately well-read, dirt-encrusted, easily entertained, soggy, and ever-vigilant.
